Vintage Truck Show – Hotdog Stand

The Vintage Truck Show was a huge success, we made $775 from our hotdog stand for our Kids Closet and brought back a van full of food for the Ashland County Food Bank too! We have to thank the Vintage Truck Show organization and the Ashland County Fair for allowing us to set up our hotdog stand again this year and to the Brethren Care Village for donating the hotdogs and water. We also want to thank our wonderful volunteers, Josh, Addison, Fred, Linda and Rick – great job!! And finally to our hungry donors that have shown their support for the little ones in our county! Thank you!

Addi and Leslie – Birthday Gift

Addi and Leslie just dropped off some food for the Ashland County Food Bank. Addi requested food donations instead of gifts for her 11th birthday. What caring and compassionate kids we have in Ashland County! Thank you Addi!!

Captains, Oriental Trading Company, Cincinnati Reds, CVS, COSI, Krogers, Snow Trails, Mohican Lodge and the Cleveland Monsters. We are hoping to add more fun things for our kiddos too! You Can Make A Difference

Your donation, no matter the size, makes a difference in ways that are sometimes completely unexpected. An older lady and her husband came in for food the other week and she mentioned she loved to color. Since we had books we got her a couple and a new box of crayons. She came in last week for Easter food and related to me that she had cried when she got home the week before with her food – she was so grateful for not only the bag of food, but the coloring books and box of crayons. This lady was thankful for everything! To all our donors and supporters – please know that YOU make a difference – sometimes just one box of crayons/coloring book or one bag of food at a time! Thank you!

Ashland High School – Caring and Sharing Week

Bob and Rosemarie just unloaded the first truck on the final day of “Caring and Sharing” from Ashland High School’s students and staff. Today was “anything goes” day and boy did we get lots of food and taxable items. What a blessing this program has been for over 15 years. We are so grateful to the youth in our county that are constantly reaching out to help others. Thank you!

Ashland High School – Caring and Sharing Week – Day 5

Jared Smeltzer just brought the final truck load from Ashland High School’s week long days of “Caring and Sharing”! We can’t thank the students and staff enough for the all the food and taxable items. They have been filling our shelves for over 15 years with this fabulous program.

Thank you!
