We are so grateful to the vendors at the Christ United Methodist Church farmers market for all their donations of fresh vegetables. One of our younger volunteers, Conner Miller is helping John Boyer with his basket of donations. John from Honey Haven Farm is generous throughout the week with fresh sweet corn. Thanks so much to everyone for the fabulous veggies! They are a big hit at the Ashland County Food Bank!!

Many thanks to the AU Students that helped at the food drive their first week back to school. They were able to collect almost 2,000 pounds of food for the Ashland County Food Bank. Great job again this year!
Josh Doss, a member of the “Back to School Brigade” dropped off a truck load of school supplies for our Ashland County youth. His group had helped local military families with supplies for their children and then shared with Associated Charities to help other families in our area. Another caring and generous group we have in our county. Thank you!
We had some awesome kids drop in with a donation to Associated Charities. Jill, Jackson and John Hildenbrand opened up a lemonade stand and donated the profits to help others in our county. Ashland is blessed to have youth like this with such caring hearts! Thank you!
Believe it or not – it’s that time of year! We will be starting our annual JUSST back to school program next week. Appointments will be taken on August 6-7-8-9 and 10th from 9 to 11 and 1 to 3 at our office. Clothing will be then distributed the week of August 13th. If you need school supplies ONLY you can stop in the office beginning August 8th with your supply list. Please call our office at 419-281-6061 for details or questions.
Our Kids Fest was a success again this year thanks to the many donors, volunteers, bakers and those that attended and supported us by purchasing hotdogs, ice cream, lemonade, bake sale goodies or participated in the raffle and silent auction. We are so grateful to our community for it’s support of our back to school program and Kids Closet. We will be starting our J.U.S.T. for school program soon!

Our Kids Fest will be this Saturday from 10:30 to 3 pm. All money raised will be used to purchase back to school clothes and clothing for our Kids Closet. Please stop in for a hotdog/drink (donation only). We also have a bake sale, raffle and silent auction. We just received an autographed Cav’s basketball, signed by Larry Nance Jr. plus a Cavalier’s t-shirt, hat, bag, pen and notepad.
